HIIT can definitely be very beneficial for a range of conditions, with weight loss being just one of those benefits. While genetics can be taken into account in all aspects of weight loss including type of diet, type of exercise etc. It also depends on gene expression and the fact we have the ability to turn gene expression on and off depending on lifestyle habits. Since genetic testing is still not mainstream, it proves difficult for us to recommend specific exercise styles. HIIT is something that has worked for Jon personally and the health and wellness community has also found a lot of evidence to support this style of exercise very effective on so many different levels. At the end of the day, we always recommend you listen to your own body's needs and speak with your doctor about what will work best for you.
