The sore throat can be a result of the body working to release things or it can just be that you are coming down with a cold. Keep drinking the liquids and you may want to add fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to your water. Gargling with some salt water can be nice too. Remember to always listen to what your body needs/wants.
